Receiving a rose is a classic romantic gesture. But what if someone handed you a rose that tasted sweet? And how would you know? You can eat it!! LUVV <3 At Amorino Gelato in Beverly Hills, CA, they serve gelato in the form of roses and flowers on small waffle cones! Each flower is customized according to the flavors and sizes chosen. This is one of those places that I would highly recommend for everyone on all occasions! Whether it be a child that just wants ice cream (how cool would it WOW them to see them form petals out of gelato?!) or a sweet date that becomes just a bit more romantic 😉 And not to mention, the gelato tastes GOOD!
Now let’s learn a TINY bit of French?? 😀 This place calls the gelato ice cream glaces. And the flower cones in particular are called le cornet. And the flavors are called les parfums. So for this instance, I ordered un glace in the form of un cornet and I chose 4 parfums to make up my cornet! Does that kind of make sense? 🙂
dark chocolate, pistache de bronte (pistachio), hazelnut and a darker form of chocolate (I think called chocolat amorino) gelato flavors. The 3 flavors make up the rose petals themselves while the darkest of all dark chocolate was the center and stuffing of the rose in the inside (you can see some of the dark chocolate underneath the pistachios). I also love how the guy sprinkled some pistachios on top of the rose for us! That was such a sweet and perfect topping to this gelato rose. Look at how lovely the pistachios are! The grays, greens, pinks, and purples! And it was so fun to eat! I tried nibbling on each petal one at a time, but eventually gave up and just licked all the petals together LOL 😀
Another view of the gelato rose! Just so you can see what the side looks like haha.
This place is a very beautiful and sweet Frenchie place and if you guys haven’t heard of this place yet, give it a try for some dessert after dinner 🙂 Just blogging about this place makes me want to go back right now! <3 I can’t wait to try all the other flavors and have more unique flower gelato creations to add to my picture collection! Hehe
