For a long time the Harry Potter World seemed too far and out of reach until it finally opened up at Universal Studios in Hollywood. YAY! And finally I get to feast like the wizards and witches from the Wizarding World; just like how I’ve dreamed it to be while reading their books in elementary and watching all their movies! From the Three Broomsticks Restaurant, you can join the Great Feast and eat like a wizard!
Even their dining tables on the inside and outside of the restaurant resemble from the Harry Potter World! I definately felt like I was IN it!
OUR version of the great feast! For the beverages that you see on the side, we decided to try their pumpkin juice along with plain black coffee. Their pumpkin juice tasted like sweet pumpkins! It is pretty much like the pumpkin version of orange juice with some slight pumpkin pulp in it! I enjoyed it a lot!
BEEF SUNDAY ROAST – prime rib of beef served with fresh vegetables, potatoes, and yorkshire pudding and gravy – We ordered our prime rib medium-rare. I like that little brown stick they stuck on it that says “med.” Hehe. Spiced with some tasty herbs, juicy and moist! Easy to cut into. The red potatoes were roasted nicely to give that crispy, savory skin; very juicy. Vegetables were steamed and plain, but at least it felt healthy to eat! I poured gravy on everything just like a wizarding kid would do 😀
SPARE RIBS PLATTER – served with roasted corn on the cobb, roasted potatoes and BBQ sauce on the side – The spare ribs were DELICIOUSLY sweet! The meat was very tender and flaked off softly and easily as I tore into the rib bones. WOWWW!! Totally threw me off! And the corn-on-the-cobb was the perfect side to pair it with! 🙂
freshly baked apple pie – I didn’t know that the apple pies were mini and baked separately! I thought it was going to be one big apple pie and we were given a slice, but this is better! Because of its small size, there is more “crispy” crust edges to eat in ratio to the volume of the soft inside 😀 Don’t get me wrong, I love everything about apple pies but I do prefer the outside! Hehe.. This was so good! And it wasn’t topped with whipped cream; it was vanilla ice cream!!!! The apple pie was warm and you know how we love warm, baked desserts with COLD ice cream. The contrast in temperatures is delightful!
butterbeer and frozen butterbeer – both tastes like cream soda with butterscotch flavored! The frozen one was softly frozen so you can scoop it with a spoon or spoon straw and it’ll dig like soft snow. Fun to eat, colder, but not as sweet as regular cold butterbeer. The cold butterbeer was sweet and bubbly to drink; very refreshing! Like a semi-thick sweet butterscotch cream soda just bursting in your mouth!
Cheers from us! <3
