Happy Belated Father’s Day to all daddies in this world!! 🙂 Sorry about the delayed post for Father’s Day, but better late than never! And Daddy, I’m sure you’re reading this so Happy Father’s Day again to you Daddy! Best Daddy ever!! 😀 <3 My dad loves burgers and beef so for Father’s Day I decided to take him to Bachi Burger in Pasadena, CA. [Note: not ALL of these pictures were eaten and taken on Father’s Day! The last few are, but these are the cumulative food pictures from more than one food visit :D] I’ll tell you which ones they are in a bit!
But you know how the fusion game is strong in food lately?! How about asian fusion in BURGERS!! This place is my go-to spot for asian fusion burgers, and they are YUUUMMYYY <3
oxtail chili cheese fries – garlic aioli, fried egg – OMG these are delicious!! The oxtail is so tender and stringy, which was perfect to eat messily all over the fries! The egg yolk is runny, yes.. Sorry, no egg porn this time xD
BBQ Bachi Burger 7 oz Angus Beef – lettuce, tomato, onion – Their generic, standard burger! Still good nonetheless, but if you’re tired of basic, here are some special ones 😉
Mr. Ho’s Burger – angus beef, pork, garlic, ginger, sauteed mushrooms, lup cheong sausage, mizuna lettuce, taro bun – I love this burger! You can kind of see the purple-ness of the bun 😀 And the sweetness from the sausage complimented the savory salty from the angus beef well! Sweet and savory and salty! Yum 🙂

I had to show you the insides!! Look at that purple bun! And it did taste like taro!!!! Not overwhelmingly sweet so you can still taste the majority of the juices in the burger itself.. Yummmm <3
Shogun Burger – wagyu beef & grilled unagi with pan seared foie gras, poached asian pear, miso butter, yamamomo peach – 21. I normally don’t list prices because it’s all about the food and I don’t want people to think about price and food at the same time.. but holy sh!@$##@t! This burger was whoppingly $21!! Was it worth it? YES.

Kiki’s Burger – angus beef, sauteed shiitake, enoki & eryngii mushrooms, caramelized bacon, sweet onion marmalade, gruyere cheese, garlic chili aioli [Father’s Day] We went for lunch!! For about 10 bucks, you get to pick one of the select specialty burgers, side and a large drink! 😀

Spicy Miso Burger – angus beef, onions, shishito pepper, mayo, lettuce, roasted garlic, swiss cheese, fried egg, apple vinaigrette [Father’s Day] This is my favorite burger from this burger so far! I think it’s because I dig that spicy miso sauce haha
