Kalfsvleeskroket “krokant banket van romige ragout en bouillon van Nederlands kalfsvlees.” This one is the MOST POPULAR fried snack in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Most delicious. Most OH MY GOD, mouth-watering.. It is basically a fried-like sausage piece with a super crispy cover that holds the most delicious and tender VEAL inside!! WHAT. How is veal in fast food in Amsterdam?! Man, they know how to eat good!

Vitaaltje “krokant vegelaorch banket von romige vagout en verse .. ” Sorry.. the picture I took of the exact Dutch saying is too blurry to translate onto my blog 🙁 But it’s melted cheese inside!!! So like a cheese croquette 🙂 Super crispy on the outside and super cheesy (stringy) on the inside!
Frikadel “banket gemoakt van gekruid kippen – en rundvlees, langzaam gegaard in eigen boullon” Basically the Dutch version of sausages.. Tastes like it too 🙂
Satekroket “krokant banket van pittige sateragout, oosterse specerijen en bouillon van Nederlands rundvlees. Let op deze kroket bevat echte pinda’s.” Almost like the first one.. I actually don’t even remember what the difference was.. but there is! And again, this fried skin is super crispy and yummy. Even though the food is fried, it doesn’t even feel or taste oily at all! In fact, I felt healthy and good eating this fast food! Food in Amsterdam rocks!

While i was videotaping myself, I could see from the corner of my eye that our new Dutch friends quietly laughed at my silliness haha but I didn’t care! This is a new concept to us! It is so cool!! I wish we had something like this! This beats drive-thru hands down!!
