The whole menu was in French, everything was in French. The waiters and chefs spoke mostly French. No one knew English!! How did we order? We managed to order somehow.. And all the other people eating at this restaurant were all French people.. Hmm.. at least this restaurant wasn’t a tourist trap. It got crowded fast.. this small, little restaurant.. Must be a hole-in-a-wall. And oh yes it was. We scored!! 😀 This place was called L’Entredgeu in Paris, France. It’s too bad that all I have to offer here are just food pictures, but no labels on them.. haha 😀
complimentary sour dough bread in a cute little bag. This is so cute!! The bread was soft, warm, and fresh from the oven! I love the cute little bag the bread came in!! This was perfect to supplement with our appetizer dishes that we ordered.. Something to spread pate on.. mmMmm <3
a thick slice of fresh liver pate with some sour, pickled vegetables and bread. The liver pate was very chunky and meaty.
a more smoother version of liver pate with fig spread. This was delicious! Very simple yet savory. I love eating bread and pate together!
a beautiful plate of fresh salmon appetizer! It is like a rain forest in the spring time in there! The decor is so forest-y. There are thick puddles of sweet mustard, toast-y bread, pickled vegetables, and scattered dots of creamy mayonnaise of some sort!
braised pork I believe? I honestly forgot and it’s hard to tell from the picture itself. All I remembered was that it tasted so savory and delicious!
OMG I forgot what this was too!!! Honestly, I am sorry. It’s hard to try to recall what I’ve eaten given the fact that I also didn’t really know what I ordered.. 😀
interesting version of lasagna made out of pasta! I enjoyed the presentation and the texture of this dish. It was different from what I’m used to.
strawberry cake. Not too overly sweet. It was thick and smooth at the same time. So yummy!
apple pie? The crust was very crispy and crumbly.
Okay, this was the only thing I remembered and know exactly what I ate. Souffle!!! This was the most delicious dessert and plate of the meal! The souffle was extremely good. Served super hot and wiggled and jiggled!! It was super hot, soft, fluffy, and smooth. It felt like eating air. It was just so insanely delicious.
This whole restaurant was just a mouthwatering experience!! Everything was so incredibly good. It was a fun experience trying to order our dishes with the language barrier, but with most of our choices, we trusted our waiter. We left it up to the French food gods!! With no regrets!!! 🙂 The pictures look amazing though right? Haha
