We landed in Bangkok!!! YAY! My first day involved random excursions on the streets, trying to find the street food which we luckily did with no problem! Our first stop was pretty near our hotel: Chinatown. Now every Asian country has got to have a Chinatown right?? Even here, the Chinese and Thai food were intermingled with each other among all the street vendors.
What I noticed so far from my first day in Bangkok is that our version of restaurants to them are street food carts and vendors. Interesting huh!!!! Sitting on pink plastic stools on the streets while quickly grubbing down on whatever street food you may want to eat at that moment.
Our first stop we’re some skewers. I spied liver, heart, gizzard, tendon, etc. for about 75cents per skewer, these were so good and tasted even better for being so dirt cheap.
I got thirsty and we stopped by a vendor that specialized in soy milk. Everything was made with soy milk!!!
This was soy milk green tea!!! The combination of soy milk and green tea was strong here and tasted together perfectly. The two flavors could not have been blended more perfect.
Thai soy milk. Yumm! Thai tea with the taste of soy!
We stumbled upon another row of street food vendors.
We didn’t even know what this was!!! Just decided to order a plate randomly. Looks like pad see ew chow fun noodles at the bottom, fried shrimp, some kind of seafood paste. And more I didn’t recognized but enjoyed eating.
This plate all stirred up.
Classic pad Thai.
Let’s get some night drunchies now eh?
And surprisingly, their Hainan chicken was BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything was soooo cheap!!! Each plate of food was like $1-2 American dollars and all the boba drinks are about a buck each. This is literally every foodie’s heaven in terms of food and cheapness! Omg I love eating out in Thailand!!!!!!!
