In the morning, we woke up early to start our 2hour drive to the Plitvice National Park for our very first full day in Croatia.
[Im keeping this blog short and sweet before entering another national park!]We dropped by a market to pick up some bread, meats, cheese and pate for lunch in the park. It was a small market in the middle of nowhere. The cashier was nice.
They had small prepackaged coffees that I liked because it was so milky and creamy!
On the way, we kept seeing stations of homemade honey and cheese and just had to stop by to check it out! There were a bunch of cute small stations of honey and cheese. The one that we visited had a nice lady that let us try all of her honey! In the end, we just got one wheel of smoked goat cheese that was delicious.
The park had nice blue lake views and the strolls were leisurely. There were a lot of small waterfalls. At the end.. it said big waterfall but it was still small hahaha!
Vince proposed to me at the end of the national park!!!! Yayayayay!
For dinner, Vince made reservations at a restaurant called Bon Appetit. This place was super cute! Across from the restaurant, there is also a reserved outdoor seating area that is a part of the restaurant. We had a nice seafood dinner. Everything was amazing!!!
Due to the time constraints, I’m opting to be lazy and not describe each dish. Take it as it is with the ingredients and believe everything was delicious, tender and savory!
