Seems like you have a good, sturdy framework for your blog set out, and I can’t wait to see what else comes down the pipe! As something to start out the “good eats and good meets” section, maybe try Healthy Bites in Burbank. The garlic chicken wrap is amazing and the spinach strawberry salad is actually what got me to like salad! I’ll save my normal lengthy explanation since this is a tiny text window 🙂

Hi!! Thank you so much for checking out my blog!! I will definitely put Healthy Bites into my bookmarks! Thanks for the suggestion! 🙂 and I just posted about our first backpacking trip this weekend!

Ah, it seems I was seeing an older version of your website that wasn’t synced with this one. After exploring your “good eats” section, I now see that your tastes aren’t limited to just the healthy stuff that were in the original 2 recipes, and you err more on the high-end side. While Healthy Bites is a great lunch stop with really in-your-face flavors (especially with the garlic sauce) I think that you might be a bit more interested in Four Cafe in Eagle Rock. Menu changes seasonally based on fresh ingredients that are available, and they aren’t just novices that started a little hole-in-the-wall joint; they know their fundamentals (which is a rare thing to find), and they know how to match flavors.

Oh yes I like all types of foods in any type of ambience! I appreciate the suggestions you’re giving me!!! It seems like you have a lot of good places to recommend too! 🙂 you should blog about food also!

I just read your wonderful blog on Alexander’s Steakhouse from 2017. My son has worked at Alexander’s Steakhouse in San Francisco for over two years as their Head Sommelier. Last week for my birthday, myself and my best friend were treated to the most amazing 10 course meal and wine-pairings at the Chef’s Counter. But the best part of the night was when his co-workers thanked me for having my son.
I’m also a healthcare worker – on the Central Coast of California, but born and raised in Los Angeles.
Happy Eatings!
